Yes, they certainly can. As long as there is sufficient room at the loading and unloading addresses for the large truck manoeuvres and equipment for loading and unloading is available, this is not a problem. Payment for the shipments does have to be settles in advance.

What if the loading and unloading Addresses are not easily reachable?
No problem, but then the Balder Logistics team will set a separate price for the deployment of separate vehicles and/or equipment.
What if no loading and unloading equipment is available?
Then no vehicles without loading ramp and pallet truck will be able to come and load and unload and we will have to arrange these separately. A supplementary charge will apply which can be requested from the Balder Logistics team.
Are Pallets always exchanged?
No, no pallets are exchanged, but if desired this can be done on request.
Can goods be shipped unpackaged?
Preferably not. Shipment is then at own risk and must always be presented on a pallet. We advise packaging all products well and sealing them in plastic.
Are goods insured during transportation?
Yes, but only in accordance with the fenex terms and conditions. In this, the pay-out seldom covers the value. We advise taking out additional insurance. The insurance will go through our insurance agent. You can request the premium from us.
Can dangerous goods also be shipped?
Yes, but a supplementary charge applies for this. Transportation of dangerous goods is on a request basis.
Can Balder Logistics pick up the same day ?
This can only be done on request. Balder Logistics will pick up the day after notice is given and will deliver your shipment in accordance with the transit time schedule.
Can Balder Logistics also ship anomalous pallet sizes?
Yes, if you report the anomalous sizes Balder Logistics will calculate your costs. Sizes that differ greatly are thus on a request basis.
How does Balder Logistics calculate prices?
We do this on the basis of the values reported by you. These values are converted to loading space and, depending on the destination in Europe, your price will be calculated from this.
Can pallets also be sent outside of Europe?
Yes, but for the time being only on request. Parcels can also be sent across the whole world.
Can parcels also be picked up outside of Europe?
Yes, Balder Logistics can help you with parcels the whole world over.
Does Balder Logistics also organize export papers?

What are dangerous goods?
Dangerous goods, or ADR goods, are goods with which danger can arise if care is not taken during transportation. Examples of dangerous goods are flammable, toxic materials, fluids and products. For this reason, qualified drivers who drive well-equipped trucks are deployed for the transportation of dangerous goods. here you can find a classification of all classes of dangerous goods.
Can I specify a preference for loading and unloading times?
A preference can be specified for a loading date and an unloading date. If loading or delivery needs to be done at specific times, this is possible on request.
Can I book a shipment over the internet?

Do I get a confirmation of my delivered shipment?
Yes, as soon as the shipment has been delivered a confirmation of this is sent to the e-mail address given by you along with an invoice.
Is it possible to check the latest status of my shipment?
If you entered the shipment over the internet then you can also check your shipments there. Otherwise you phone our Balder Logistics team for the status. Besides this you will in any case be kept informed proactively.
Can I also book sea or air freight through Balder Logistics?
This is possible, but is always on a request basis due to the constant fluctuation in pricefor these kinds of shipments.

Yes, as soon as the shipment has been delivered a confirmation of this is sent to the e-mail address given by you.
What do I have to do with shipment documentation?
Address label: You will have to stick this to the shipment. This applies for all destinations and for every type of shipment.
Connote or Consignment Note: This is required for customs handling. You must affix both copies (Customs and Receiver copy) to the shipment. These documents are only compulsory for Non-EU/Customs controlled shipments.
Commercial Invoice: You can add your own original invoice. This must be attached to the package in fivefold. The commercial invoice is only compulsory for Non-EU/Customs controlled shipments.
